Lady ‘V’ doesn’t drive.
But she looks after me on the Bus when we’ve been up CMK Drinking.
Mine is a very careful driver and is observant and reads the road well. She is good at reversing her car into tight places, such as our carport. Drives at around 50-55mph,and won’t drive on a motorway.
I’m lucky to be alive.
(ex’s driving. Currently without partner)
Mine in general is OK, although she only drives locally, and won’t go on a dual carriageway or motorway if she can possible avoid it in any way.
Whilst we’re on the subject though, I’d like a general consensus of opinion on the correct way to overtake on a multi-lane road. Do you a) move out into the next lane and then start accelerating to go past, or b) accelerate in the current lane and then move out when you’re already at overtaking speed?
Just interested as she is adamant that a is correct, and I always do it the second way. I stand to be corrected if I’m wrong though…

My girlfriend is a brilliant driver when she is picking me up from the pub after a skinful, but f-----g ■■■■■ when we are going out for the day!
she makes the Ant Hill Mob off Wacky Races look like driver of the year
Forgot to add mine refuses outright to drive through country lanes and asks me to slow down when I’m doing 35-45ish because she doesn’t like it
Mine thinks she’s penelope pitstop. Usual women things, no perception of speed, no awareness of space, constantly criticizing every other road user
My ex was at uni in Leeds, she was a real cracker. I don’t think we dropped below 95 from cannock all the way there. She also used to moan about how much it cost to travel, no wonder! this was 95 with no lane discipline and flashing lights in lane 3. On the return leg I forced myself to go to sleep.
No comment she may move towards me any second.

Surely neither are correct, you maintain a constant speed (within the speed limit officer), on approaching a vehicle travelling at a lower speed, move out of the running lane and complete your overtake, then move back into the running lane.
mines great now, after she went out with me one day, when i went on a work run iam course. she didn’t realise how much further ahead i looked then her,
got 35 out of 40 on my run,
she had a run and got 22. and then badgered me in to joining the iam with her so she could improve!
she can park anything anywhere now!
