This is one of my faves…
corcheela, is it just me or that first scania look like an ex h j calver truck?
See what you mean Matt looks that hj calver drab colour ■■?
definitely not - richard green always bought new, but his drivers always said he’d then not spend more than 10 bob on the paint job, so the motors often looked older than they were
nice traditional old fleet though, the family were fairly well off from their sawmill and timber merchanting business, then Richard went and married a cosmetics heiress (can’t remember which one) for good measure

It looks like the same colours, but I can’t remember that far back what type of motors they had. They have always had a mix of makes, Volvos, Scanias and the odd Magnum as well.

i know they had scania streamlines, and it was just the colour and the position of the london borough exemption plate made it ring a bell, maybe just coincidence…
that iveco is better looking than the new ones
Is Arthur Green still going abroad? I havent seen them for a long time
