You have slightly missed my drift. It was less about Stobart and more about the over dramatisation of the mundane by TV production companies, it’s why I gave up on Ice Road Truckers.
I don’t have feelings about Stobart one way or another. Although, I do like the way they get some people wound up to head exploding point over the slightest little thing connected with the aforementioned company. 
PS. I cant read Stephen Hawking stuff because I can’t do the voice.

i cant see the ex-trampers moaning even if they were put on the show,they wernt happy when they first came of tramping ,but the ones ive chatted too of late have now realised what they were missing out on,a proper family life,football training with there boys,taking there girls to dance classes,stroll ,hand in hand with the mrs through the park etc etc.the ones ive spoke too swear blind theyll never go back tramping,not in a million years,think stobarts did them a favour by the sound of it

I don’t understand this. If you don’t like it don’t watch it. This applies to IRT, WTT and EST&T.
You’d have to be pretty stupid not to see that this is just boggo entertainment and aimed at the general public not the type of people who come on here. Its not for hardened truckers who wish to earnestly debate the pros and cons of the Eaton Twinsplitter, its a way of people killing a bit of time after people have had their tea. The advertisers do not care that factually there is no chance of falling through the ice / spilling cream cakes / getting eaten by a croc etc. - its a tv show.
Does anybody honestly believe that any of these are worse than 99% of the absolute dogmuck that pollutes the TV schedules? These days I hardly watch any telly, I’ve seen all three of these programmes now and again but I can take them or leave them. The frothing at the mouth on here is pretty embarassing.

There has been a television crew following DSV subbie craig kerwin driver jilly around. From drivers talk in the yard I think it has something to do with female drivre’s in the industrie.

i don’t like talent contests so i don’t watch all the simon cowell style shows. i don’t like stobartvision but i do watch the series sothat i know what crap will be fired at me, because everyone wants to know ‘were you on the telly then?’. no i wasn’t and i don’t know dicko or mo or ashley. glad to see hammerand coffeeholic know the whole thing is over dramatised drivel for the public, its not a documentary. there is an off button, frothy mouths.
