You Want Bikes?

Hi, Santa
You didn’t drop any of them of on the 25 did you “” it looked close at times but none got squished,

eagerbeaver:
He posted on the ’ Do you enjoy driving? ’ thread about riding motorcycles in Corfu in the 80’s (PMSL), and I have ’ discussed ’ the episode with the world’s greatest police tactical pursuit advanced IAM member on the ’ shunting ’ thread.

He might be out doing some late night community litter picking at the minute, with his headtorch on, so give him an hour or so.

Haha I’ll have to have a look. I think litter picking is tomorrow, tonight is Neighbour Hood Watch.

Santa:
On the other hand, you could say that it all works amazingly well. No squished cyclist, no horn hooting, no fisticuffs.

This. It seems to me that a critical mass has been reached, even exceeded, here - there are so many cyclists that they overpower the vehicular traffic and thereby become the dominant force. There are no disputes because the cyclist is king. There are no accidents because the motorist is all too aware of the cyclists’ presence (no smidsys). Like Holland. That is exactly what they’ve been trying to achieve in That London and other city centres. And why not? All those cyclists were in cars! [For those in any doubt, I’m a cyclist and lorry driver and this very morning, cycling to work, hi-vis flapping and lights flashing, some ■■■■ turned left while alongside me    .]

Probably one of the [ZB’s] on here that hates cyclists and makes out it’s always the cyclists fault. :unamused:

Did ol Boris see that Video?

I tried counting the number that sailed straight through the red lights at the ped crossing but gave up after 20 seconds as I was already into double figures. I presume the police will be using the evidence to identify and prosecute them all like they do with anything with a VRM attached to it? No, thought not. :unamused: One rule for one…

Had one today in Ealing, early morning so it’s dark, wearing dark clothes without a high viz. they are class a morons.

eagerbeaver:
Haha, Albion1971 is recovering from his humiliation at the hands of the Beaver.

A bit daft for someone like him to lecture us all on driving standard’s, to then admit to riding a motorcycle on the road in a t-shirt and shorts!!

So glad that got you all excited. Simple things please simple minds.

Hang fire peeps - just nipping to the foyer for another carton. :sunglasses:

Why do they not need to pay road tax?

Whaaaaaaat! Think I’m gonna start a list of places to AVOID!!! :open_mouth:

Tommy7437:
Why do they not need to pay road tax?

Answer: because a) there is no such thing and b) their carbon emissions are quite low if they lay off the sprouts.

I agree Albion.

You WOULD have to be simple minded to admit to riding a motorcycle in shorts and a t-shirt.

After lecturing everyone on here about driving standards.

Let’s get this into perspective beaver. Firstly I do not lecture anyone on here about driving standards but I do voice my opinion about the attrocious standards on Britain’s roads today.
Secondly what I wore on a m/c over 35 years ago in Greece is nothing to do with driving standards and the only person I was putting at risk was myself.
Don’t worry next time I will take my one piece leathers and my Sidi boots.

Now there is not much that interests me about you but I would love to hear more about your 30 years riding motorcycles or are you the one that is talking bollox?

Also if your trying to wind me up your not doing a very good job. Making yourself look like a stalking troll though.

Funny that. Because you are the one that keeps biting lol!

albion1971:

So you care not for the poor people who will be scraping you off the road with a shovel?
Or those others involved in a potential accident, resulting in far worse injuries than there otherwise would be?

Sounds like a rather selfish attitude Albion1971, a bit like motorists that demonstrate poor and selfish driving standards!

Good post Evil.

(Makes a change).

Take your friend palm and do one!

More to you and EB than meets the eye eh Evil!

The thing is Evil nobody had to scrape me off the road did they. Also the fact we were hardly on any roads but more on mountain tracks and empty beaches so no we were not being selfish. So sorry to disappoint you. Try harder next time. :unamused:

That is as lame as the excuse a drunk driver gives by saying they only drove 300m home from the pub! :unamused:

My initials are EB as well, so rather less to you than meets the eye!
