I just wondered WTF is the point in saying that?? FFS people get the message when you send it why put it on the forum too?.
I don’t always log in when browsing so wouldn’t see the message alert. Sometimes it can be weeks between log ins so if I follow a particular thread a PM alert in that thread would let me know.
Another reason might be to take a heated, maybe personal, arguement out of the public domain.
