Whilst on the subject of tyres this week…it has dawned on me that hoarding 6 years worth of mostly Bridge/ Hankook casings for a rainy day is a bit simple!!
Who wants them these days■■? what are they worth without any damage■■?

Can you not send them off and get them remoulded yourself or is it prohibitively expensive?
Give Alterever from Gilberdyke near Hull a call. They remould all sorts of tyres so would probably take good condition casings if your hands. As for what they’re worth I’ve no idea!

i would say £10-15 per good hankook type case, mich will be more, dont sit on them to long as they have a date code on the sidewall of each tyre and if they have been stnding to long they will say they are to old and wont re mould them!
the other thing is if you know the tyres and they have no damage send them for re moulding yourself if you make them take the codes off the sidewalls you can insist on having your own tyre cases back
Can get £15-20 if you’re lucky for mich casings. The guy who buys mine won’t touch anything other than mich, conti or Bridgestone. They are also very picky about date codes, anything older than 4 years he won’t touch. Look at the dot code on the serial numbered side of the tyre, should be week number and year.
