The firm you`re thinking of were originally Cyril Whitleys, Cyril was related to the Longs family (Henry Longs) John M Youngs took them over , my dad and uncles all worked for Whitleys my dad going on to Longs ,my brother and cousin both worked for Whitleys too ,my brother also going to Longs

I have never seen any pictures of Cyril Whitleys on the net ,they ran a mixed bag including AECs,Bedfords and ERFs ,i have some old Bedford pics somewhere anyone else got any?
