You’ll find that a range change on 18t is not common. A lot more on 3 axles +. You have to pass a test on 8 speed as the licence covers you for plenty of motors with range change. But I always think it’s a bit tough if you only ever drive 6 speed 18 tonne.

Let us know how you get on with the crane, i use a crane everyday and its good fun but can go wrong very quickly if you take chances,. Guy at my place paniced that the lorry was gonna go over, jumped off the platform and broken his leg in 7 places.

hi all yeah had confirmation my hiab course is next sat me and two mates from doing it together so will be a laugh and dirt cheap too so even better

How long is the training course?

two days compressed into one with training on all ie brick grab hook forks etc
