Item on BBC news. Soon all Tesco delivery drivers will be wearing body worn cameras for safety concerns.
Seriously wtf is wrong with society these days that person delivering your shopping isn’t safe.
Where will it stop next ? your DPD DHL parcel drivers will be wearing them ?
And does anyone really want there delivery driver filming coming up your path knock-on door as you. Answer it in your pjs etc. has been privacy invasion.
But apparently usdaw has approved it all with the authorities.
Seriously, WTF is wrong with doing your own shopping? Problem solved.
I always do .never done grocery shop online prefer walk round Asda or Tesco do my shopping.Or go the shops in general .
I don’t use Amazon very rare I’ll use eBay unless something can’t get on the high street
The weekly food shop is great meeting in with people be it in Tesco or in the High street butchers bakers etc. but being of an advanced age we will be having Tesco Home Delivery if the winter weather stops us getting out and about.
With regard to Amazon I had a couple of things off ebay recently which were delivered by Amazon Prime courier(day after ordering)

its delivering to the stores as well… i have heard numerous stories of people being accosted and things stolen out the back of the lorry
We are both in our mid eighties, she won’t have the home delivery service, but I think the time will come when she’ll have to reconsider. It’s becoming increasingly tiring for us to battle with supermarket shopping (and I b loody hate it)
A Tesco trolley is my zimmer uncatchable 
Used to use my wheelchair it made my arms ache,now use small mobility scooter, which I get back into my car with a remote control making life bit easier
It’s one thing for older folk to get home delivery, or the occasional pizza after a few bevies, but 20 and 30 something people seem to think it’s the only way to buy stuff.
I hate spending my day off wandering round a supermarket with the Mrs…..we invariably fall out, I just want to get what we need, get job done and get tf out,.she just ambles around slowly,.and if we see anyone we know, stops to talk.
Deliveries are the way to go for me…..either that or she does the shopping I go for a coffee or better still down the pub.

Nah I’m just bloody immature and childish.
Not one bit of sympathy for tesco van drivers , bunch of tossers , if they abandon there vans all over the streets like they do at there stores ( I’ve experience of the tossers ) then they deserve every bit of abuse they get , no doubt they’ve blocked some poor blokes drive then told him they need a break .
Never mind sympathy they deserve a good kicking , just the mention of tesco vans & there drivers sends the blood pressure up
Thing is mate if you look around maybe comments on FB and the like you’ll invariably get sh like ‘‘ALL truckers are x y and z’‘.
You cant lump everybody in same category, I’m sure some Tesco drivers are as you say tossers, same as a lot of truck drivers (as they call themselves) some are particularly useless tossers, I don’t consider myself like that as I’m sure you don t think that of yourself.
Any contact I’ve had with supermarket drivers has been fine, guys and girls of all ages just doing a job like us.
