No,no,no mate. The reason my face fell in your lap was because of that dodgy stool you put there for me.
Talking of stool samples…how are you Beezle?

Bonus points for anyone who can tell the class the origins of the word “sabotage”.

 I haven’t got a clue what this thread is about??
I am at a loss why we keep turnips like the op in the country. Can we not swap him for at least someone who has a grasp of the language and perhaps has two cells to rub together. Just a thought !!

Me for one will be be pleased to see the slow recline of foreign vehicles on our roads, not just in sabotage, but wondering what the Fxx their up to when you come up behind them, threir making me old before my time. For sure the Gaffer’s Will miss them, and the office toe rags who talk and treat them like dung. But I won’t Roll on Turner’s
What is this " recline" you speak of . . is it some kind of comfy chair ?
Not sure about foreign trucks working under cabotage but as for the eastern European drivers. Yes, not all are appealing country fellows, but I’d happily swap some of them that are at least willing to work with some of the low life Jeremy Kyle benefit sucking scum buckets breeding like rabbits that infest some of the corners of our community. Is that an option? Pick a bright minded polish worker for one of our brawling louts?
Who cares they don’t speak the Queens. My ancestors probably didn’t. Yours probably didn’t. In a few generations their children will speak the Queens and most likely be brought up with a better work ethic than some so called "Brit"s who are a disgrace to the nation.
Anyway, this is very un pc (I don’t care) but at least they’re all pretty much strong Christian fellas and not likely to saw your head off when their lot rumbles through town with black flags. They’ve already proved their ability to be loyal in WW2. Some of the best RAF fighter squadrons were Polish. Can’t say I have much money on loyal Islamic fighter squadrons if Isis ever roll into the country.

Went shopping a few weeks ago… two kids about 9 and 12 talking with proper east mids accents.
aye up me duck…
they then stopped and spoke to their mum in Polish, I asked her a few questions, and she said although they are born in UK it would be good for them to be bilingual and she insisted that they always talk english where possible but ok to talk to their family in their mother tongue, and kids agreed to that, even talking in english between themselves.

In a way though, that is “cause and effect”. Indigenous workers are forced onto benefits because they can’t pay western European housing costs on eastern European wages.

Well, that is a very detailed point and worthy. However that is to do with un controlled levels of immigration, and not where they come from.
I am all for proper Australian/Canadian Style accountable immigration. However, I still feel where there is a shortage in a field, the Polish workers in particular are worthy.
To extrapolate what you are saying I do not agree that this problem has existed solely since the unparalleled rise in immigration. In the UK in recent history we have always had a large element of society hell bent on scumming around or down right being a leech on the system (football hooliganism in the 80s). I feel for the decent working man, excessive immigration only drives down his wages, but for the layabout Jeremy Kyle type, just provides a convenient excuse riding on the coat tails of the working man’s genuine concern.
All I was saying is in an ideal controlled immigration system, i’d happily swap them for some of the home bred nuggets we have, and to boost, they’re strong minded in Christian principles that underline our country values and not Likely to be so liberal and mute when it comes to Isis and Islam. Which I think in maybe a few years hence will be a very pertinent point for the country.

My dad is of Polish origin, although he has never set foot in Poland, he started life with Polish nationality. His father came over here in the early 40’s wasn’t benefits related, they had a fella called Adolf to deal with.
After the shenanigans that ensued, my grandfather was offered British Nationality, along with a British Empire Medal. So he nipped back home, for his wife, managed to impregnate her, and came back here for a life of Riley down a colliery in Staffordshire.
Dad was born in Germany on the way over.
But back to what I meant to say, my grandad went to work, the family stayed at home. My dad’s first language was Polish, until such a time that he went to school, he came home, and shared what he had learned with his parents.
Only when they were fluent, did they dream of entering the local community.
As as kid I found it it weird. My dad speaks with the most pronounced Staffs accent ever, but he completely understands Polish, his folks would be chatting at full pace, he’d interject and chip in, but always in English.
He can translate anything put in front of him, and tell me what any knobheads are waffling about, but never once heard him utter a single word of Polish.

Yes I’d like to see more UK run trucks on our roads, whether they are driven by foreign drivers I couldn’t be arsed to comment on…

My Dad was born in Budapest, came over in 57 , at time didn’t know where he was going to once he left refugee camp in Austria with my half sister and his mother.
He ended up in Wolverhampton lol
He still surprises me with stories from his days in Hungary as a kid (he hated the Russians more than the Nazis) , stealing grenades and ammo lol.
Emptying a full magazine into a russian dog as it was about to attack him
And stories of his friends going missing in 56 during uprising
He never claimed any benefit, only UK pension, as he has worked since he came here.
Along the way he received an OBE (very proud of him)
And he is still going strong at 83

Robroy, sussed you out, your daughter is going out with a flip flop,…has he put her up the duff yet.Still he will get a citizen uk passport, whether he stays or not
No mate nothing to do with my daughter (s) …just pointing out your ignorance, and the difficulty you seem to have with the English language.
In fact I know a lot of foriegners (of which you appear to have a problem with) that can speak it better to be honest, but I would imagine the irony of that will be lost on someone like you.

My late Brother-in-Law was from Hungary, got out in '56 and came to England. A harder worker you wouldn’t find. Finished up here in Oz and never claimed benefits in either country. Had some tales to tell as well.
