I thought a enforcement (what a term!) camera could only be used for one “task” at a time. I may be wrong, but that was my understanding, more than happy to be corrected!

A driver where I worked got flashed through a redlight camera just off of the Hammersmith flyover in London village. He came down the ramp and the first set of lights changed to red, he went through the redlight 1.23 seconds after it changed and at a speed of 36mph. He got a fixed penalty for the redlight offence but not the speeding.
If your front wheels had just crept over the white line I doubt wether the camera would have been at the right angle to read your number plate at the rear of the truck.
If just relax. Not alot you can do about it now. Hopefully nothing will come of it.
Got flashed a couple of years ago for running a red light, luckily(!!!) I had forgotten to put on number plate on trailer and as vehicle was unlettered no problem.
But it did bring up one point of discussion in the yard.
Didn’t a rule come out a few years ago saying that units should have no plates on nearside to allow for cameras etc.?
For a while all new vehicles seemed to have them n/side but now are back to o/side
I was flashed on a red light camera in Hammersmith.
Rainy Friday at 1430hrs, but had less than an artic length to stopand only doing 32mph.
I got away with it !!
A friend in the Met Police told me all red light camera fotos are physically checked to ensure accuracy and they are not automatically issued with a fixed penalty as some are inacurrate.
They look at the pic and work out the length of time on amber and red and at what point the “offence” was committed. Also the prevailing weather conditions…
As an artic is 50ft plus, you can pretty much guarantee that it is the trailer that sets of the camera. If you had just the cab, then as you are roughly the same length as a car, you would be clear of the junction.
It’s always worth asking for the foto evidence, as a motorist was “done” on M4 near Port Talbot.
He requested the foto’s, worked out his speed from the 1st to 2nd pic by using the white lines and he was under the 50mph limit by around 15mph.
The National Express coach in outside line was the culprit !!!

There should be a “lane” 1 or 2 or 3 print on the top right of the photo to show which lane the pic was referring to

Technically crossing the white line by any amount after the light goes red is an offence but I think the cameras take two pictures to prove that the driver continued through the junction.
I like to think a degree of common sense is applied to allow for trailers. Last week I was at the front of the queue, in gear and ready for the off so when the lights changed I was away. Not exactly a racing start but I wasn’t hanging about either, yet I still had about 10ft of trailer behind the line when they went back to red.

How long do you have to wait for a yellow speed camera ticket?
Is there a max limit, after which I can relax?
I could be wrong but I believe the ticket has to be received by the registered owner of the vehicle within 14 days.
Nearly Right, although with one notable exception:
“A notice sent by post must be dispatched so that it would reach the driver within the 14 days within the ordinary course of the post. If this is the case then it will have been deemed to have been served even if it is delivered outside the 14 day period.”
Remember Christmas is not the ordinary course of the post and under English law proof of posting is proof of delivery.
In this case the NIP would need to be posted so as to reach the registered keeper within 14 Days. The keeper then has 28 days to name the driver, the Police then have a further period of time to send out the NIP to the driver.
If the vehicle is leased it then goes to the Lease company, back to the Police, who then send it to the company leasing the vehicle, who then must name the driver, back to the Police and the onto the driver.
