does anybody remember a haulage company in grange road batley called yak transport in the mid to late 80s they ran light blue transcontis
used to mend his trucks they were white with blue and orange stripe round the cab,there were two transcons and a few d serise 4 wheelers.I went driving for ken and drove one of the transcons JWY34V.YAK moved to mirfeild and went bust shortly after,The transcons were reposessed,JWY was bought by lin pac in sherburn, it was taked on by Keith Masterman KWM distibution they moved to Clecheaton and then to Ossett .

it was Ken Hanson YAK stood for Yvonne And Ken his wife,Ken died a while back from a blood clot i think.
