Carisio

Via Stevenson, off Vialle Certosa.
Easy access to public transport into the centre of Milano :sunglasses:

Carisio would also be a great New Years party, I’d expect.

I’d heard about secure parking on Via Stevenson, but the only place I found there had a space for a few trucks and most of those were local hauliers, it was also a car wash. Saying that, it was secure and the people there were friendly and helpful although they had to phone the boss to make sure I was allowed to park.

I was sent this information about parking by the exhibition centre and I think it’s where most of the other trucks were parked, however I don’t know any more about it than what I have here.

P.S. I hope you have a good New Year whereever you end up.

You can park at Via Stevenson, about 22€ a day. But, like you say, it’s mainly locals that park there so it’s fine if you’re leaving the truck but no facilities & I’d have thought you’d be on your own there.

A firend parked in Carisio over new years a couple of years back & apparently there were a few down there to have a craic with plus all the locals go there for a meal/party on NYE. Wouldn’t mind being down there for NYE myself :sunglasses:

That does sound like the place I went to, I expected something bigger.
I think Simon suggested it and going into Milan.

It’s years since I parked at Via Stevenson. There used to be a resto’ there, with some other facilities  .
The main point of parking there though, was always the ease of access to Milans city centre.

The resto was flattened a few years ago now Simon and there is a roundabout where the gate was. The entrance is now around the corner.
