I got a ■■■■■■■■ and a P45.
Tub of sweets, Xmas card and £100 cash.
And a trip to the pub paid for by the boss.
In contrast my ex employers (flour mill) are generously giving out redundancy notices tomorrow. Nice gesture just before Xmas, claiming poverty when they buy new trucks. Tossers. How can a food company struggle at Xmas time?

Hopefully, I’ll get home alive, always a bonus in this game, .
: A bonus??
Are you sure you’re in the right job mate, you sound like some kind of nervous wreck.
Got nothing but it could be worse, I once worked for a bloke who docked money from our wages because we finished early on Christmas Eve.

£30. which will get tax docked from it before it gets to my bank account…

We get ours in January or February so not exactly a Xmas bonus but should run into several hundred pounds.

I got the same as every year [zb] all! Not even a box of chocolates.Same here the usual, and same as last year… Jack [zb].
Had to deliver bottles of wine and chocolates to the management at head depot, put them in the cab, but completely ‘forgot’ the chocolates were under my heater.
Classic! Nice one Rob!
Yeh, it just ■■■■■■ you off how they look after each other but totally disregard and ignore their drivers.
I’m sure a 6 pack of cheap lager, and/or a bottle of wine from Lidl each for their drivers would not break the greedy ■■■■■ s.
Hopefully I’ll get my stobart calender in the post. It’s the highlight of my year.
Text Greeting message from my Agency who have been making 20% of my earnings for the last 8 months…

A box of chocolates, pen and lanyard from the agency
Paid 15 hours for working Xmas eve
Then they informed us that we have to get to Cairnryan by 1430 and wait there until the ferry comes in at 1800 so we will be working 14 hours anyway. I will gain 1 hour as a bonus
Unless my trailer has a puncture which is not uncommon. 60-90 minutes plus time to fix it = a night out and run in on Xmas morning at a minimum of 9 hours at double time plus I would still have time to get my homework done on Xmas day
