Oh right…, definitely not my department then.
Somewhere within the settings, there will be a master volume control which sounds like it is off no matter what your normal volume slider says.

And make sure it has the FTR files contained within it as these are the truck specific ones.

Does it have FM audio output on it? If so check that option is disabled as that will mute the on board speaker on most of these Chinese sat navs.

Better solution. Don’t use a sat nav. You’ll just end up following a stupid voice with some arrows for the rest of your life and won’t learn certain roads/routes… + what are you going to do if your sat nav decides to pack in one day whilst your plodding along the A1…?
