hello.does anyone know if i can fit xenon headlight bulbs to my truck?present bulbs are h7,70 watt.the ones i want to fit are h7,100 watt.is this gonna cause a problem?any advise would be great.
Yes it will create problems - legal ones if nothing else, 55W is the maximum you can use on the road.
If you have plastic lenses then the heat generated can also melt them.
Interesting thing bulbs,if you visit Halfords they are generally advertised as 30% or 5 times more powerful than we were flogging last week.Now I don’t know about you but my eyes are not 30% stronger than they were last week so I find all these more powerful bulbs,to say the least,stressful and I do wish manufacturers would knock on the head this ever increasing power surge.If you want more powerful bulbs think of those coming towards you,the manufacturers don’t.Just a thought.
