WW1 steam lorries & traction engines

For the last three days travelling north on the A1 I’ve seen quite few low loaders with steam lorries & traction engines on the back .
The Lorries were all khaki green with ’ WD ’ markings . E & N Ritchie of Hetton -le - Hole was hauling some of them and was wondering where they’re
going or coming from . Any body know ? .

There are several steam and vintage shows having WW1 exhibits this year to ‘celebrate’ the end of the war. Maybe Beamish Museum is having something as well?

I’m guessing they’re heading to the Great War Steam Fair at Beamish Museum this weekend.
