WTF truck pics "We've had bigger than that in here drive!"

Can someone please tell me what this is being transported, and where it’s going? :open_mouth:

(if you wanna be really showoff, you might like to state where this pic was taken as well! )

It’s the bow section of HMS Astute in Barrow :sunglasses:

Interesting comeback if VOSA attempted a pull - “not now FFS, I’m working for the Queen!!!”

Ahh, but that’s what we used to say when at Royal Mail!

I’ve only been to Barrow once, and that was 3 years back. Didn’t see much industrial going on, so I couldn’t work out who the main employer of the area might be.

Not hi-viz in sight… It’s a wonder it don’t fall over!

I’ll leave you with number 2, and I’m off to bed. :arrow_right:

Only one hi-viz! Bound to fall off.

No idea but it looks like a model scene

Is the second one part of the DS-1 Orbital Battle Station (Death Star)?

looks like part of a giant boiler ■■

Nah hh I guarantee u that isn’t any part of my ex mrs

Probably a ridiculous question but how do you strap something like that down??
Or don’t you? Is it a case of so much weight and driving at 1mph?

I think, knowing absolutely f all about the subject. That you would strap down what it’s sitting in like the goal posts when you’re moving pipes unless it had lashing points at the bottom. But I’m just guessing wildly.
Edit; strap down / secure / chain / weld etc. Don’t think actual straps would hold it.

Plus, I’d love to see any bugger chuck 'em over the top of that!

You’d have to shoot them out of a rocket launcher

Sod rolling the buggers up after as well, would be about a mile long

Shove 'em in the side locker for the next bloke

I thought this looked like a model too  Dug up this slightly less photoshopped version though which looks a lot more genuine:

Apparently off-shore oil platforms? Insane!

Which way would you turn to reverse it? :open_mouth:

f–k doing my daily walk around that load! it’d take a day just to see if any wheel nut markers have come loose! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :grimacing:

I think it’s welded on to the frame then once it gets to where it’s going they deweld it

The 1st pic no frilly curtains or air con pods or lights insight :frowning:
