Coming out of the services with the American diner. Skid marks coming out then going all over the road for several hundred yards until they stopped in an access road just before the Hartlepool sliproad. Looks like both wheels on one axle had locked up but how did the driver get onto the A19 without noticing and gi past a layby without stopping?
Yeah saw those at the beginning of this wk & again tonight when I came out the services, can’t believe they still look fresh & the distance he went !! Must of scared the crap out of any car drivers behind him with the weaving around, looks like a proper slalom !!
I noticed them also after a trip to Washington and back on Monday, looked like someone had set off with locked trailer wheels, dragged it all over the road and eventually pulled into the layby down the road, released the trailer brake and carried on.

the marks were clean rather than smudged with overmarks from a 2nd or 3rd axle with the same problem. it is possible that it was a single axle trailer of course but it did look like someone had a hell of a scary ride. i just dont understand how they managed to get onto the A19. i didnt see where they started but they did come out of the services so they were in there somewhere and carried on rather than stay in there or reverse back if it was a sudden problem.

If he was empty and in a big motor he honestly might not have noticed.
I was in a bit of a rush and I had to move an empty trailer out of the way a couple of weeks ago and I accidentally left the trailer brake on.
Wasn’t until I dropped it and headed back the way I came that I noticed a trail of parallel black lines 
what a knob!!
Saw a massive skid mark entering Toddington services south bound last week. Snaked out right at the end too.
And there’s a right mess of skid marks leading down the embankment on the M6 northbound where it splits for the M6 toll. Brown trousers for sure.
Might have had a brake hose come off, so just one wheel would lock up
