WTD, Driver hours/breaks/rest EXCEL?

I have looked at the WTD Excel spreadsheet in the sticky, but I was wondering if anyone has a good spreadsheet for tracking all driving and rest breaks etc. as well as the 17/26 week rolling average?

Do you want to program it?

It’s a lot of work, because there’s a lot of conditional arguments. How about buying one of Davey Driver’s Hour Guards?

Maybe if I could be bothered and my brain wasn’t fried after a hard day’s work I might have a bash at one. Wouldn’t be in Excel though, OpenOffice Spreadsheet format rules here

I thought it would be pretty hard as it hasn’t been done before (I did search  ), if you have the time, patience and skill, I would be very pleased to trial your work  .
I do intend to buy Driver Guard, but I just splashed out on my 1st digitacho this week and I’m not very flush.
Open Office not a problem I’ll just fire-up the old Mandriva dinosaur.

No need for that.
You can download the latest edition from
openoffice.org

Open Office will convert an Excel spreadsheet to an Open Doc spreadsheet, or the other way round. Most office programmes apart from M$ use this Open Doc format, so it shouldn’t matter what office programme was used to create the spreadsheet, Open Office would be capable of running it.

If you don’t want to have Open Office as well as M$ Office. If anyone wants to create the spreadsheet, they could then send it to me. I could run it through Open Office to convert the file to Excel format and then send it on to you.

I did a spreadsheet I used to use for keeping track of hours, took a bit of work but wasn’t too difficult. However, it was pre the April 11th 2007 rule changes so it wouldn’t be much use now, it also didn’t cover the WTD because at the time I fall under WTD regulations.
