WTD advice [Merged]

Evening everybody long time lurker, just after some wtd weekly rest advice.

My employer wants me to do this;

Monday 7-15:30 w/c 9th
Tuesday 7-15:30
Wed 7-15:30
Thurs 7-15:30
Fri - 7-15:30
Sat 7-11

Monday 7-15:30 w/c 16th
Tuesday 7-15:30
Wed 7-15:30
Thurs 7-15:30
Fri - 7-15:30
Sat 7-11

Not sure if i can or not because of the 45 hour rest thing, only ever done 4 on 4 off before this… and wanted to get the actual facts right before i ask the delinquents in the office.

There’s not enough information to say with any certainty whether or not this is legal.

You say you normally work 4 on 4 off so did you have 4 days off before starting work at 07:00 Monday 9th ?

If you did have 90 hours or more rest before starting work on the 9th then the work pattern you’ve posted is legal, otherwise we’d need more information about your weekly rest periods prior to starting this work pattern.

By the way, weekly rest periods are nothing to do with the WTD they come under the drivers hours and tachograph regulations.

edit: will you be having a 45 hour weekly rest period after you finish work on Saturday 21st ?

So. You need find an hour either finish early Saturday or start later Monday

How ever for 2 weeks im allmost certain it’s possible but then by the 3rd week.your need to pay back 2 hours have to take 47 hours off.
Im.not fully sure on paying back rest as I only do min to Fri so don’t have to worry about it.

You appear to be contradicting yourself.

Anyway, as I said there’s not enough information to give a definitive answer.

You can work them shifts for 2 weeks but then you will need to pay back rest owed ie 2 hours

If they want you to do them.shifts permenatly them no you can’t unless you have an extra hour off .
Ie finish an hour early Friday or start am hour layer Monday so you have 45 hours break
