WS Transportation

William Stobart by any chance :open_mouth:

According to this weeks Comic, its Ed who is fronting the new company, with operating centres in Bolton for 15/30, and Runcorn for 30/30 [truck/trailers], thats a lot of dollar for a young lad to stump up, and thats before they turn a wheel, just imagine the hassle with the fuel companies, trying to sort out fuel cards

Anyway, just checked the website, and its being HQd @ Thirsk, specialising in flat bed work, i suppose this fits in with the Bolton site, which belongs to Severfield-Watson.

And, to add a bit of intrigue, why have Dalton Transport [DTS] got at least one Scania in ESL colours running flat beds, from THIRSK, on similar work

No doubt it will all come out in the wash :open_mouth:

Re. DTS @ Dalton … Nigel that owns DTS used to have a couple of trucks subbing to Stobarts - painted in Stobart’s livery, one was a Stralis … you could tell, as it had “DTS” private Reg plate … most of the fleet are *** DTS.

This was a Scania, and your right I think, the number plate did have something to do with “DTS” on it…and, as i was passing it, there was a sticker with “Owned+Operated by Dalton Transport Services Ltd” on the back of the cab :open_mouth:

Nice livery who ever owns it
