Baby Stobby must be doing ok, O licence application to add 25 trucks and 35 trailers at Severfield Rowan Dalton

Seeing more and more dragging tesco trls,must be a bummer for the ws blokes and the esl fomula 1 boys when they give um a 26ft shopping trolley and a few tesco extras to crack on with :laughing:

My own thoughts exactly chav, whenever II see em there running back empty, surely there not topping up an O licence for ulterior motives

They don’t have names on unit.

its owned by his dad and ran by the son, at a recent induction at stobart trining widnes all the ws transport fleet we are eddies yard getting wrapped, basically it was put across to us that when eddie goes bang ws transport will take up the slack, people may doubt but stobarts has split from the main group of companies, is that the start of the win d down process

i,m not saying you dont see plenty on the road, what i am saying is the ones they already have based at Dalton arent running to capacity so why another 25? they have just lost the job running the steel from the steelworks at Lackenby into Severfield sites as they kept turning up late

no that was sorted out a week or two ago ,think stobarts are pork pie makers ,nothing too do with stobards ,

For the last 2 years we’ve been sending 20/40 trucks per day from our depot too work out of depots 40/60 miles away ,even though those trucks I assume are on out o / license,could this be the case ,theyl be put tramping from there ,sent too a depot where they can’t get drivers too man there truck ,that’s happening at our depot ,we can get drivers ,agency so there putting more trucks into our depot too then go and work / or do work for depots that can’t get drivers .these 25 trucks you speak of May be based there but work elsewhere all week ,I was talking too a crick tramper this week ,he was working out of Goole all week .

Never met Dixon Seth,ash - saw him once at Goole a year/ 2 ago ( memory not the best but 99% sure it was Goole ) ,never spoke too him just saw him ,tims :question: ,is that the big lad on bio- mas,if so spoke too him on our pumps ,nice friendly lad ,Matt-( dixons mate ,driver trainer now ) hit car whilst trying too get in power station ,nothing like on show ,had him for dcpc ,training on boxes ,just one of the lads ,no airs or graces ,lee ( driver trainer ) trying too reverse rigid in London ,on about blindside I think ,had him for dcpc ,nice lad ,Fiona( her of the creamy back end / video ) left ,not sure whether own accord or when we had redundancies ,heard heavy haulage ,but that could be wrong
too be fair I get on with anyone ( well apart from t/ net :wink: ) so I see no reason I wouldn’t say at least morn/ alright too Dixon ,at the end of the day I work for the same company ,and it’s a sight easier too work together than against each other .
