Wrong way!

Went looking for some wood stacks. They weren’t up here. Bugger. Onwards.

Watch out for that human! :sunglasses: lol  nice picture! top end of beattock? :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: seen some woodpiles earlier!

Can’t you just spin it round like that fella on Youtube?

No behind Clatteringshaws Loch. Went over the top and down the other side only to find trees over the road. Luckily the crane with us managed to pull them out of the way. The office told us or loads were up there.

They weren’t.

Pah, bloody kids in trucks! A real driver would just pin it then handbrake turn it. What could possibly go wrong?

A bit unfair as it’s quite a few miles from the nearest road!

Is this part of the £24 Billion roads improvement program that’s just been promised by our WONDERFUL GOVERNMENT ? :unamused:

Dunna worry its coming then you can really moan about the roadworks :grimacing:

Oh there’s a slight technical hitch, There’s hardly any ‘trained’ staff about and the ‘supply chain’ hasn’t got anything like the capacity required.

You need to ask for a rise

The only rise we’ll get will

You’re on the road that goes up the side of Clatteringshaws off the A712, The Queens Way.
You’ve got to the end and gone over the bridge that is signposted to Glentrool by bike but is about 8 miles.
Close?

Happysack I never did timber with any of the firms I was on for but have always had respect for the guys who do that job. Coping with dodgy greasy narrow roads and just what you have described trying to find a pile of wood in a strange forrest canny be easy. Eddie.
