I do agree with both of you at some point , at the end we as HGV drivers should back up each other as no one else DOES!!! All I have to say is , big thumbs up to TURNERS give the driver a chance and if I was the driver simply would come up with a " had a slight brake failure or miss the brake pedal as it slip of my foot and swerve to avoid an accident ". Health and safety! After all no accident happened with incoming traffic nor even a close call, so let’s turn the page and carry on with the job .

You’ve got a point. I always take the reversing lamp bulbs out and go through backwards though so as not to alert the CCTV operator.
