Yesterday wake up.open new letter and watch…Cameras, tickets and COLLISIONS.21.11.2014 I was driving 51 m/h(in 40 m/h limit),start think.but i start work for this company just from December.definitely no my overspeeding.go to work ,when show this letter for transport managers.they check my card, and own sistem and found who in this day and time this truck was driven by another driver with very similar surname but absolutely different name.now TM said Monday i need come to him again and he call to police.
Just one question person who was sent my Surname to police request make simply mistake or sometime TM try help to some drivers avoid point, and give wrong Surname■■?
Do you have same similar situation■■?
No, never.
Ignore doing it through your company and use the information on the back of the PCN. There is an option there to dispute it saying you were not the driver at the time.
Theres also possibly a problem with record keeping at this company if they dont know who was driving what vehicle at what time.
Are you by chance the same Andrejs who posted on Sat 13th Dec - Flashing camera from backside M25 j26 -25?
The common theme seems to be speed!

from this letter i can see who this overspeeding was near Cambridge at 1123,WHERE I NEVER BEEN.second .and done by truck CN13… but from octobers till december i was worked in some company and drive 9 years truck with anolog tacho.company record show who in this day and time this truck was drive another person.
If it was the companies truck then your TM would have sent away the form saying it was you driving, if he did then it was his mistake but it is up to you as now the named driver to say it wasn’t you driving.
Andrejs, do NOT ignore that letter, and do NOT rely on the transport manager ‘fixing’ the problem that he has created.
What you have is a S.172 request/letter, regardless of the error… you MUST (it’s a legal requirement) reply to it within 28 days. If you don’t you risk a large fine and 6 points on your licence. Your ‘duty’ is to provide any information you can that might identify the driver. if you know his full name, then name him.
Write a letter something along the lines of this:
"I was not the driver of ■■■ vehicle registration number ■■■ on ■■■ date at ■■■ time. I did not start working for this company until ■■■ date. Having spoken to my transport manager, Mr ■■■ (name him!), and checking tachograph records, it seems that he has made an error in naming me.
I do not have access to company records to identify the driver of the vehicle on the date and time above, however the company transport manager does hold this information. Please refer this matter back to the company.
Regards,
Andrejs
Full Name
Full Address"
Then SIGN and date the letter (important). STAPLE the letter to the S172 request, and write on that “See attached letter”. Send it back to them recorded delivery. It MUST arrive back to them within 28 days.
