I work for them on night trunking. The money is good, the management are flexible, the motors are a huge improvement over what they were 10 years ago. I’ve not a bad word to say about them really. They don’t mind you taking passengers, it’s a small enough firm to have that charmed ‘family run’ feel but big enough to possess an air of professionalism. I like them a lot, and they are one of the country’s oldest firms too, having started in 1904, so they have a rich history.
Have they still got that tongue in cheek sign in the yard?
Along the lines of…‘‘tyres should be changed if the cords are showing and not wait till they are badly worn’’…always made me chuckle, haven’t been in their yard since the late 70’s.

Ha ha, no mate, that’s not there, but it doesn’t surprise me that it used to be there. They’ve recently moved to a new yard - I may erect my own sign along the same lines

Their “office, high end employees” can’t read and don’t know how much is 2+2…
Know guy who applied for Class 1, get rejection saying that don’t need Class 2 drivers… -
They lie… (tested recently)

Judging from “visual information” they operate cheapest possible trucks… (observation + signs + common sense = verdict)

Judging from your previous posts, I’d say you’re not exactly experienced enough to know what a good company is.

Never worked for them but had lots of mates who did, as a kid I rode passenger with one of them and back then they were a good family company. I have known many others over the years untill recently who work there and never had a complaint.
They have a good facebook page.
I had an interveiw with them 2 weeks ago i did the whole hour long driving assesment.
The actual interveiw was about 15mins long and that was with TM i got offered a job on the spot but i had to turn it down as the money wasnt quite right.
I worked for them many years ago and was quite happy and the money was decent, no idea what it is like these days though
