Sure haven’t they got bigger problems to worry about like the “dreaded blindside reverse” and only having 3 hours to do 40 miles.
even better if we could expand on the idea … if the app showed where the truck was going, I could sit in a lay by and wait until one was heading to my destination, then with some very large electro-magnets on the front of my van I could attach myself to the under-run bumper of the truck, knock it into neutral, crack a tinnie open, put my feet up and just relax 
I’ve actually got the app on my phone , think it was £3 ish ,I put it on as I can keep track of my truck ,since I’ve been tramping we’ve had no - one is to use trampers trucks when there on there rest days ,too we’ve got no trucks we had no option but to use it .
At the moment it’s the trampers trucks arnt to be used unless in a emergency ( it hasn’t moved for the last 3 weeks ish while I’m on rest days ,but I still check its whereabouts as I’ve no interest in turning up for work at 7 am if the truck is still at Redcar ,Durham etc ,it also tells me if its been used I’ll need to go in early to fill diesel tanks,ad- blue and generally give it a good clean to get it back to how I expect it to be/ and how I left it.
