Would you report this or let it go?

Fair play though it wasn’t your run of the mill flounce, it was epic and even included a “mods please delete my account” Kudos brother.

Let it go. Nobody was hurt despite gross stupidity and it’s doubtful it will actually get followed up on by the police anyway unless there’s dashcam footage in which case something might come of it

I know the police won’t be interested, I was thinking more just informing his company of their drivers standards whilst in a company vehicle…

They will be. Both of them want their collar felt. It makes me smile how indignant people can get about drink driving and rightly so but this dangerous and aggressive behaviour is somehow not worth bothering with? [zb] are taking their time to catch on that there’s lots of cameras about these days so they’re obviously not the sharpest tools in the box making them that bit more dangerous in my experience.

some one chucked bottle of pop at me hit windscreen got it on dash cam took to old bill, week later not enoth evidence to do any think as driver could not be identified

One of the worse things that happened was plastic bottles, with a glass pop bottle you could really make a point!

Oh ffs ! :unamused:
Unbelievable.

Down load the film and attach it to an email to the company.

Aggressive driving that involves putting kids at risk - is dangerous driving.

Report him.

In 2 car convoy on Saturday with family. Car in front has my 6 month old nephew on the back seat, with a baby on board sign in the rear window.

White van overtakes me and goes in my gap between me and car in front.

Then second car overtakes me and goes in that gap. On 2 lane bit car moves offside to see if they can overtake van. Van diver is leaning out of window with middle finger out because he doesn’t want to be overtaken.

Next thing, and this is a 60mph road, he’s about a foot from the rear of the car that’s got my nephew in. If they would have had to stop suddenly or even just slow down a bit suddenly the van would have been in the back no question.

Now I know it’s just a guy probably just finished work and wants to get home, but it’s hardly just a mistake is it.

I’ve got dash cam footage which shows the company name and van reg.

In two minds whether to inform his company or not…

You could inform the company, and if you don’t hear of any disciplines being handed out in due course, you’ll pass the information onto the police for further action.

Most companies would bin any complaints from members of the public - but might think twice, if you gave them a copy of some dashcam footage, and invited the company to “deal with it, in house” before you pass the same data to the police, if they decided to file it in the dustbin.

People are open to coercion - IF you actually put a copy of evidence on the line, as it were.

“Verbal threats” however - achieve little, or nothing. :bulb:

but the p plate stuck on the car warned me the reason she was doing some of the things she was because she’d just passed her test , so I gave her plenty of space / time , I’d hazard a guess her dad stuck it on as I did my girls car when she just past as I thought it would hopefully make other drivers aware she was a new driver so may make the odd mistake , and hopefully they’d give her a bit of leeway , I guess me and her dad are bellends :unamused: :unamused:

The difference is, a P plate means novice driver and is to inform other drivers that the owner is still learning the roads. A baby on board sign doesn’t necessarily mean anything as they are often left in the car regardless and should have no effect on the driver of the car with the sticker.

If Rowley thought he could leave a two car gap on a main road on a bank holiday weekend - he really can’t have a clue !! Traffic is often nose to tail on most routes and you are lucky to see any gaps ! And then to get in a huff about people jumping into those gaps ! He really can’t be used to driving in this country as it is a regular occurrence ! For him to dwell on it so much to post it on a forum shows he really needs to calm down and relax more when driving !

In fairness to Rowley he was there, none of us were. And it was a member of his family who he thought was at risk.

I’ve got a lovely clip of a Transit van stunt driver sitting on my PC (of which he is aware) and there it’ll stay…until the next time I see the moron driving like a zb and then both clips will be sent to plod for perusal.

I really hope the mods do delete his account. Will they, won’t they? I just cannot bare the suspense of it all. The police ought to take action on this, blatant disregard for a baby on board sticker. Does it get any worse? DVLA please delete my licence and Rowley too. I will never step foot in a vehicle again after this.

I had to double check that I wasn’t on my other forum for ladies of a certain age, where things are a little less feisty shall we say, but offence is more easily taken!

As the OP has vowed to leave and never return, I guess this thread could be locked now.

But a tenner says he’ll be back within a week with or without a new user name, so best to leave it unlocked so he can agree with himself upon his return. [emoji23]

I compare tin foil hats, elbow patches and baby on board stickers to ready sliced gravy

Actually quite the opposite I developed a preference to be dominated by posh older ladies :open_mouth:

But no, it was ~25yrs ago, I’m good with it now

Baby on board sticker usually is a sign of driver who can’t drive for toffee. The general consensus is bellends use those stupid things. I hope you take it out when you don’t have one onboard.

Read the post it is not my car with the sticker in, and the person driving can definitely drive and drive safely.

Forgive me for wanting our roads to be safer. If everyone just “leaves it on the road” that will never happen.

If Just maybe words of advice are given, mistakes pointed out, if it’s serious enough disciplinary action taken (if it’s a company vehicle) then even if that saves one life in the future is it not worth it? Rather than just “leaving it on the road”.

Bahahahahahahahaha.

Everyone agree with me or I’ll run away and cry.

What a dripping lettuce.

Must admit, i dont understand the labels either Baby on board …wtf…do they expect drivers to drive differently… in all honesty…i have been behind cars with kids in, looking out the back window, and waving like crazy, or using other hand gestures…then i really would love to smash em in the back and move them aside, although, i normally back off, if i am matching their speed.

I always laugh at the signs on the back stating CAUTION HORSES! “No ■■■■ Sherlock it’s a ■■■■■■ horsebox, what else would it be carrying?”

Its getting out of hand, I saw one with “horses in transit” on the back when it was clearly a Mercedes Sprinter derivative.

Should I report this?

I think this deserves its own thread.
