Hi!
I am currently considering a career change to driving lorries but am concerned that I had 3 points on my car driving license for speeding in mid 2013, these points have expired and I have learned my lesson! But they still show on my record until 4 years which would be June 2017.
My question is would this record of points affect my chances of getting a first job in trucking? Or as they are ‘expired’ would they be overlooked?
Also would the best way to get started be to pay for my own test and then apply with local companies ? Or is there a better way?
