I see Netto’s south elmsall hasn’t changed in the 12 years since I was banned from the god forsaken place - That is one place I will never ever set foot in again as long as I live, arrogant company, ignorant workers!!
so…i,m in good company.got banned there many yrs ago for refusing to turn plts round.after i had used a manual plt truck to offload 16 plts of jam.
I’m booked in at Wilkinsons, Magor rdc tomorrow. What should I expect there?
Never had any problems there tbh , park up , book in and your given a number to put in your windscreen. They come to you and tell you what bay to pull on.
A little tip… if you only have a few pallets , i used to have a quick word with one of the forkies on the empty pallet job. If you catch them in a good mood they’ll side tip you and drop your stuff on the bay for you
Part of this is also dependant on which shift is on, at Iceland Deeside one shift would have you in and out in 30mins, but one shift used to take up to three hours, God knows why.
you can sit in your cab , but no lights to indicate that they have finished tipping you…i don’t sit there counting…why should i, then hours to get your paperwork. the waiting room in a hole and the toilet well…lets just say i hold it.
i hate that place, and the ones where you have to stand at the dock (rye park)
Out of the ones i’ve been to, Morrisons at Latimer and Rud Heath are by far the worst, hours and hours for paperwork if you don’t break down, with no indication as to how long it’ll be. Rude staff that are thick as a brick and ignore you or talk to you like crap. And the waiting areas while ur being tipped (usually fairly quick, it’s paperwork that’s a joke) are holes, with vending machines you can’t even use.
Tesco, at least you know whats going on usually, but was at Chepstow 4.5hours the other week on 2 bays. First one said he couldn’t find me after I got ■■■■■■ off waiting for 2hours and went looking for the tipper…I was in the joke of a waiting room with the other drivers, all getting their keys and paperwork back, hadn’t even been to the loos or anything 2nd bay I was on, again sat in the waiting room for 2hours, asked several times being told it wasn’t ready until again i got fed up and she wen’t looking and found it’d been ready for nearly an hour, they’d just forgot to pass the paperwork on.

Never actually delivered to Netto Sth Elmsall, but did 2 shifts there over a year ago.
The “arrogant company, ignorant workers” part i can vouch for.
Don’t deliver to RDCs anymore but when I did my worst experience was TESCO (surprise, surprise) at Brackmills ,Northampton (■■).
8am tip, so arrived 7.30am, few hours hanging about, few hours on a bay, few hours waiting for paperwork and eventually drove out at 5.30pm.
As a result of this experience and other bad experiences at TESCO I never shop there and neither do any of my family.
Now, I only try to shop at places where they at least looked as though they wanted to tip you. We can all understand delays at busy times of the year ,regardless of the customer, but TESCO took the P***.
