Anyone else blind to this, or do you just not give a … ■■?
Seems very obvious to me at least that the world is slowly but surely descending into anarchy, the whole of middle east as usual is at each others throats, nothing new, but the problems seem far wider reaching across the whole world at the moment, many “civilised” countries descending into riots, striking, poverty etc as we all start to pay the price for funny money and the total collapse of the world financial system.
I do not dwell on it, but I do see signs that we are nearing a tipping point quicker than maybe people really realise or care ?

Nah, but you know you can’t close your eyes to the world around you, even if there is nothing you can do about it, more fearful of what the future is to hold for my 5yr old daughter than anything else tbh.
I know a lot of people like to just bury their heads in the sand on such matters, ignorance is bliss attitude, that isn’t me tho sadly.
There was a chap on the radio some time last year who had come up with a mathematical formula to predict when the next world changing revolution would happen. It was based on recession and continued dropping of living standards for the masses, government debt, fighting for resources and historical data. 8 years time apparently.
Noticed it a few years back…Made plans to deflect the financial mess, that have so far worked.
In that plan was moving to Lincolnshire, in the middle of nowhere, as this affords more time and preperation for when things do go ■■■■ up and you can do the preperation without anyone noticing it.
Also easier to obtain a shotgun license in the countryside, than it is in a town
I forecasted the unrest in this country that we had a while back, this was purely based on the social conditions that prevail in this country.
I see many countries having social unrest in the West and the Middle East, a little bit in the Far East…As they are usually more relaxed about stuff.
But the situation is not good, especially as people wake up to the fact that they have been used as cash cows for a capitalist regime, this diminshes the value they thought they had in most things and enables them to search for other things in life, they eventually wake up to the fact that the way in which we live is futile, not at all rewarding.
We need more than money and jobs, we need community and belonging, along with identity…A tribe to belong to if you like, something that nobody else can take away from us, it is important psychologically!!!
I just know, that in the UK 10 years ago, the prescriptions for anti-depressants were in the region of 9 million, last year, it was 43 million, that alone must tell you that all is not right with our systems!!!

Like Reagan and Thatcher the question is who is Obama and the our government actually working for and who actually gains from their policies.It doesn’t take a genius to understand what was going to happen in North Africa when Gaddafi and Mubarek were thrown out.So what happens when it turns out that the democratic wish of the majority of Arabs is for the Muslim brotherhood.Then when push comes to shove between Israel and Iran who will the Saudi Arabian population support .Sooner or later Israel will probably have to go for Iran before it gets nukes.Then it’ll be a case of a united Arab states against Israel and overthrow of the Saudi government by Muslim hardliners like Bin Laden probably with support from Russia and China in which Turkey and the Balkans become the front line.But then Obama’s ( and Cameron’s ) level of intelligence seems to be a long way below average.

It’s going to be interesting if we find ourselves in a position of fighting with the Serbs against a Muslim invasion of the Balkans and Europe that’s supported by the Russians and the Chinese.Or maybe the Serbs will just let them through while laughing with their Russian allies.
