would anybody know where you can get a spreadsheets for a self employed driver to keep working time directive records I have tried doing my own but just can’t get the minutes sorted
Yeah I’ve got a spreadsheet for this very purpose, it is also useful for recording driving hours too. As an added bonus it informs me of useful dates such as National Day in Denmark, the Queen of Hollands Birthday and sunrise and sunset times. The bonus is that for such a high tech piece of kit it only cost me £1.99. I have noticed that if you leave it until say September you can get it much, much cheaper.

or does anybody know the formula needed to correct this - many thanks in advance for any help
You need to format the cells with the time in them to ( hh:mm ) and format the cell with total to ( :mm ) to get the total posted below
08:23
07:56
08:18
09:03
07:19
-------
40:59
To format them, select the cells > right-click > format > number tab > custom and select hh:mm:ss, then delete :ss and click ok
