Hi delboytwo, I’m sure you’ll get a good answer to your question, but I’m just wondering where you got this part from?
delboytwo:
…you must not drive for more than 45 hours per 6 days
my meaning is the two week 90 hour spread if you drove 45 last week and did six days then this week you can only drive 45 hour for the six days
Del
Hi Del,
That’s cleared up that one now you’ve explained it better.
delboytwo:
I may be wrong in saying this but it it does depened on hours driven in the fortnight spread cos some muliti drop drivers do work six days, and if you do for you to do six days you must not drive for more than 45 hours per 6 days .
IMO you should only work one sixth day in a 90 hour spread unless your driving does not go over 90 hours in that spread
Del
But the point is the limit is 90 hours in a fortnight, not a certain number of days so provided everything else in the regulations falls into place then it is possible to do 6 days each week and remain legal. I would think multi drop drivers are also far less likely to get anywhere near the 90 hour limit than trampers or trunkers.
I’ve done 6 days in consecutive weeks on two or three occasions recently but didn’t get close to the 90 hour limit, just over 81 hours in one of the fortnights was as close as I got.
