Hi Guys, I have worked the other day 12 hour, I had to wait at a site for some keys to open up site maintenance for me to unload sewerage. My other daily hours in the week were 9.5, 8.5 and 10. i can’t see anything in my CPC that tells me i can’t work 12 hours (as long as i do not exceed 60 hours in a week) is this correct? Again, a confused newbie trying to get things right. thanks for the help guys
On UK domestic regulations you’re restricted to 10 hours driving in a 24 hour period and 11 hours duty in a 24 hour period.
So legally you can only work a 12 hour shift if you have a break/breaks totalling at-least 1 hour.
