I recently have being looking at working in the UK as a tramper and coming home every 2 weeks.I would ideally like to get a job somewhere around Runcorn or Liverpool.Just wondering can anybody recommend some companies.I have made some enquires in Dowtons Runcorn depot.Better still any UK companies regularly shipping into Ireland.I have a Northern Ireland bank account was wondering what else would I need.Not focused on any type of work in particular once it is not Adr tanks had a belly full of that already.

Try jobs.ie for Irish firms doing UK.

Or done deal jobs. Ie.
Good few jobs on it at the mo. Lots shipping out Liverpool too

Think these all have Irish links with UK based trucks.

RE the bank account etc being Northern Irish do you have a national insurance number? (Genuinely don’t know so apologies if it’s a daft question).

I’d have thought we shared a common tax system etc but stand to be corrected.

My wife’s best mate moved from NI a few years back if I see her (the friend not the wife!) over the weekend I’ll ask how she got on when she came over with banks etc.
