Working for the Irish

I think he likes licking a Virginia.

If the job is what you want take it and quit whining, if it’s not don’t take it and quit whining,do you really need to think aloud on a forum to make such a decision ? Or are you really just on here to imply Virginia’s pay is crap cos you say so! Your a bit of a ■■■■ really.

i don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking what the deal is is, when working for the irish by someone who hasn’t done it before

where did he say the pay was crap?

Big mistake working for an Irish firm.
You may well get a big motor with a big noisy engine but your speed limiter won’t work, you’ll be overweight much of the time, have your route changed to pick up the odd pallet here and there and you’ll be expected to run bent as a matter of course.

It amazes me Irish firms are allowed to get off the boat.

That’s pretty much what I was thinking Phil, sorry berewic but I think the majority of firms from here and Ireland and most of europe run legit these days.

Only one bellend on here mate! And its you! Where have I said its crap? I want to know the pitfalls of being paid in euros and peoples experience of this. Next time I want to hear an ■■■ hole I’ll ■■■■ if its all the same to you! I’ve had PM’s asking what they are paying, thats for me to know and for people to apply and find out for themselves. Then they can make their own mind up!

90% of Irish firms are running straight. The RSA witch is the same as Vosa are hounding every haulier and road side checks are common place. We are one of the only countries in Europe where the authorities seek out there own and leave foreign trucks alone. Virginia have vacancies because some of there driver were bending the rules so i here.

I run with the Irish lads week in week out - They are hard working and don’t take fools easily. They do tend to run some big motors but this is more about working the truck less than running bent.

They will also help you out should you be in the ■■■■ which is something that I value when working in Ireland either North or South

Spot on - I’ve never asked anyone before so why is England called beano land■■? I’ve always wondered

I’ve only subbed for Irish companies, and yes they used to push you hard. From what I hear(not from here) the high profile firms-Virginia for one- are now very legal. If you fancy the job, then go for it.Paid in Euros, well you’ll need a crystal ball to see if that works out.No one seems to know what’s going to happen-Drachma,Pesetas,Escudos ,Punts etc.
