Is working for an agency the equivalent to being on test EVERY day? Just askin
What?
What I mean is, driving for different companies each day, does it feel like being on test? You know, the pressure of getting it right first time, every time.
No job yet ?
I get what youâre saying but not on a test.
at first it will be daunting for any noob but once youâve learnt the ropes there wonât be any worries.
Based on my limited experience, for an agency to place you with one of their clients you may have to do an assessment first. Once youâve passed that assessment you can drive for that client as many times as the agency cares to place you with them (i.e. assuming that client has shifts they need the agency to fill, and the agency wants you to do it rather than another driver on their books).
As a noob there may be very few agency clients who are actually prepared to take you, so youâll probably find youâre working for the same client repeatedlyâŚif you pass their assessment to start with that is. It is unlikely that the agency will be able to pass you around freely amongst several clients until youâve built up the necessary experience.
If you make too many mistakes with a client then the client may tell the agency not to send you to them again. Then youâre in trouble and probably need to find a different agency with different clientsâŚwho will accept noobsâŚand the process continues again.
no it isnât, when your not a one trick company pony, it doesnât matter what size truck or what job, you just crack on and get it done.
Donât forget to wear a ripped, filthy,hi viz bomber jacket and have your boots in a Lidl carrier bag for full agency effect.
(Oh,and turn up late).

Evening YT!! Have you not heard mate? I am led to believe that â It suits my lifestyle ',is the alleged response of the average agency worker on here. (Noobs not really included as experience needs to be gained. We have all been there!).
Roughly translated as â Christ,im gonna have to stop getting â â â â â â and have a shave '.
Another one of my faves is â Yeah, been offered full time, but I told them no thanks '.

guess its a hard thing to grasp for some company steering wheel attendants that not everyone spends the days playing peekaboo behind frilly curtains or standing around polishing each others âtanksâ and will roll over for the boss while accepting pennies. but hey you have a bling lorry
Eagerbeaver it seems you get peopleâs backs up mate?? Class one wa*ker
