Hi
I took some photos yesterday to show my youngest son what I’d been up to - he’s very into trucks, ships, cranes etc but is still a bit small to come too. Anyway I thought I’d zip two together (you can see the join!) and post them here.
I was carrying paper reels, they were unloaded by forklift (with clamp) onto that flat container base, and then they were lifted straight into the ship by that massive crane. No photos from the actual unloading as it was too hectic.

Well Zetorpilot that motors a big step up from the old yellow and black ERF you had at Wilsons back in the day

Yes, that old A-series felt big enough at the time though!
Scotstrucker, that boat is RMS Saimaa. Thanks Gardun, nice one, you have photoshopped before I believe?
Paintshop Pro - just a quick blast with the clone brush!
Have you given up on the removals then JP?
Edit.
Sorry JP, just read your comments on another thread - question answered. Pleased you’re keeping busy.

Thanks! I’m itching to get back on the bahn! I had hoped that things would be busier on the removals already but, well, the boss says to hang in there and not to worry, so… for the time being I’m hanging in there and not worrying.
I’m getting a couple of days per week off Mr V but it’s always at short notice - usually at about 8pm on Friday night or later, when I’m just thinking about putting the sauna on and opening a few tins! For example that Hamina job was 23:00 Friday to 12:00 Saturday. Still it’s a lot better than nothing and it’s really nice to still be one of the team there.
