After posting your run to Spain , in a previous post , it seems you are desperate to be in Alicante , Ryanair is the answer , but wear a face mask and ask permission to use the loo , while in Alicante , maybe ask hauliers if there are hiring , unless you speak Romanian or Bulgarian , forget it , the country is bankrupt .
The unemployment level in Spain was horrific before the Covid .So why keep asking stupid questions ?

Watch “bargain loving Brits in the sun” on one of those free view channels that does pathetic reality tv programmes, there’s loads of people on there that are as barmy as you are that want to live in caravans sweating their bollox off because they can’t afford to pay the leccy bill for the air con.
But all is good for them cos it’s hot and they don’t have to pay council tax.

I have to ask the question , what is the big attraction with Alicante ? What’s so special about it ?
Even if you got a job , the wage would be dire , the rent for the apartment very high , there is no work.
Do you speak Spanish or write or read it , as you will need to , in order to pay the bills , get a residents tax number , pay taxes , deal with the Government and other administration ?
And compete with the influx of Eastern European workers that have been established there for years .
And if you are a resident of Spain and stopped by the police , you have to attend court , whereas a foreigner pays at the road side and has the option of contesting the fine at a later date , for road traffic offences .
Could be worse he could have said Greece he was looking to work in

When he posted a pic of the view from his apartment in Benidorm, he got rumbled when I suggested that someone should do a google photo search and it turned out to be a stock photo found online

Ouch. Shame I missed that one unfold. Could we have a new forum section where threads like that get stickied? If it was called Classic Busts people might expect something else though.
Peirre ,mentioned Dozy being rumbled for a fake photo , I saw a TV documentary about insurance fraud ,and people making false claims , so they sent photos of what was damaged or stolen , but the photos had a date and time , by somehow reversing the image has all the data they needed .
If anyone is planning a run to Spain , from Calais to Alicañte it’s 1145 miles , that’s a long run .
