Any of these styles suitable? Definitely great ankle support

Yeh yeh but are they waterproof :smiley:

Top ones you could get blown up with and your feet would be ok. Not so sure about the rest of you though!!

Blown up…What kind of bloody haulage do YOU do■■?

That’s a new one “■■■ offenders boots” :laughing:

Dewalt boots from makro, comfy flexy and tough, best I have had yet, even the laces last :wink:

Can anyone recommend a good pair of work boots that give good ankle support!

Thanks in advance Andy

I always buy my own boots, pay a fortune for them sometimes. Company supplied are rubbish, the laces snap on the rough edges of the eyelets and the sole is solid, i like a bit of cushion. At the moment I have Dr Martens - not conventional ones, but ‘down the pit’ ones, pig ugly and heavy. I might get a pair of these;

Cheap and cheerful, not too keen on the colour - ‘honey’,but might be up robroys alley :wink:

Good nite John boy’s :smiley:

Got some buckler dealer boots. Best I’ve had!

Wolverine at Arco are quality boots, and stylish enough for the fashion conscious driver, who likes to make an impression. :sunglasses: Englebert Strauss are quality too. Expensive but worth it. Have a pair myself. Waterproof and breathable, but a bit too bulky for summer. Going to get a pair of Dewalts from Amazon shortly. Cheaper than Screwfix.

I had a pair Buckler dealers a few years back cracking boots and lasted really well ! I’d have another pair again they aren’t the cheapest but u get what u pay for with them ! .Had a few pairs of JCB 1’s in last few years which have been good and I’ve currently got some Scuff’s 1’s I brought from wickes for 30 quid and they are holding up to muddy building sites quite well at the moment .

i can vouch for the dewalt bolsters. on my second pair now, nothing wrong with the first pair they just stunk :frowning:, they do the,m in a dark brown too, most comfy. light and durable boots iveowned , the laces are solid, well worth 40 bullets

I ordered my work boots 10 months ago ,they’ve never arrived and my old ones had that many holes in the soles my feet were permanentely wet,so for the last month I’ve worn trainers ( non steel toe cap) ,I’ve been pulled up on it ,explained why I’m wearing them ,threaten with being sent off site ,but as yer no- one has actually fulfilled there threats .
I could easily afford too buy some ,but I wont ,zb ,they make a big thing of the uniform they provide ,so they can bloody well provide it ,or trainers it is .

Just bought a cracking pair of safety boots online from Arco. Doc martens tamarack st’s. NOT cheap at £105 + vat, but absolutely bloody nuke-proof, and the best boots I’ve ever had in almost 40yrs of grafting.

These are the best I’ve found , strong sturdy but feel like slippershttp://www.safetytechnology.co.uk/steitz.html
