Top day I got the Job, not top dollars but hey better than sitting on my arse, drive assesment went ok, but 1st reverse manover was Blind side, so i had to take a shunt, tlr swap road run all ok. 
Nice 1 Pete, job’s a doddle, all container jobs pay small hourly rate, massive hours.
Roadways has been struggling for years, hence the zero hour contract and loads of people were laid off from Leeds a couple of years ago, and Manchester lost the train and laid loads off, but sounds like they might be getting back on their feet if they’re recruiting.
In Leeds, I’d expect either an old Volvo or maybe 1 of the really old erf or MAN’s, both of my old erf’s are now in Leeds, DK54 CDY (4394) and a 2003 one that I forget the reg on.

They,ve got 8 new volvos coming in August. Im not really botherd what i drive. I know i wont get a volvo, probebly a erf, or whatever, i start in Mid August which TM said suits him fine. The TM didnt try to big the Job up, quite the opposite, think he,s had dvrs then they clear off after a mth or 2. Thats a big relief for me when i de-mob i was worried about getting a Job. Woop Woop.

i carnt remember the ■■■■ girls maybe before my time, I remember peppa pig, lol, n ive got some nice pics of me N the ■■■■ Miss Keegan from corrie, I miss the shows but due to Army cuts the Team got disbanded, Loved the truck fests, the last 1 i did all the recovery boyz nGirls had a big booze up, with a band on a 40ft Tlr, then as the beer flowed the gud old kareoki ■■ came out, drunk as a lord, then had to do a display in the morning with hangover from satan himself…
