As far as I know we all went up to Chedburgh to have the picture taken on a Sunday morning about 35 trucks but the photographer failed to turn up.

Yes it’s the same one,saw him a few weeks back at Scooby’s funeral. Yes he has got an 18 tonner. Scooby also worked at Drakards on a low loader mostly.

When I was a kid I used to go to Hartest on sunday morning with my dad. I remember Scooby re treading his tyres and putting his name and paw prints on the tyres. Drakards used to do Chafer chemicals and I remember asking Scooby why he didn’t do them . His answer was" I don’t want no fartiliser". Absolute top bloke sad to hear he’s passed on .
HI trubrit yes it is , I used to sub out of drakards when he was there he was the driver who passed away at truck fest peterbourgh, but we had lots of laughs over the years and saturday night there till late he had also been on portbridge amongst others ONE OF THE BEST

Yes,kindle did work there,so did I,so did Biggles,though Biggles and I were the only ones that used to park in Felixstowe.
And the company were based in Gothenburg.

looks a long trailor rember shorter ones knew david he was on perrys as well used to have some good laughs on beet used to have a yellow 2800 daf in them days, came not to far from perrys yard all so you asked about a 88 volvo in Willi Betz colours some time ago i used to drive that or we also had a 290 ( black grill) same colours the 240 was ex fridge freight that was missplaced

I have seen this photo about 20 years ago in Phil Drakards house 35 or so Volvo F88/89s in a line very impressive
