Woohoo finally. Agency advice please (Leicester)

Well, that’s it. The proper entitlements came on a new licence this morning, as did my new digi card. :slight_smile:

Chuffed is not the word, but I could do with any tips in a good agency in the Loughborough or Leicester area.

I live half way between the two so either is good.

I’ve heard the QS aren’t that good but are quite busy. I’ve applied to one at Stoke for an upcoming contract at British Gypsum but it’s not due to start for another 3 - 4 weeks.

Alternatively, if anyone is taking full time on in the same areas, a heads up would be very appreciated.

Driver Hire have a good rep for newbies in this area but pay is often lower than others which may not be willing to take on newbies

Join every agency in this area and see what happens

Might also be worth a call to widdowsons

H and g,my mate is on for them out of Lutterworth,rate is £10 ph /24/7 but he’s never stood down,not enough hours in a day/week.
He’s agency but on guaranteed 45 hr/ 9 hr per day contract,tues - sat.
Not saying its good/ bad but it’s something if desperate

I’d had my HGV for 7 years and my PSV for 9 before I lost them lol lol.

A lot will go on when the categories were listed as first issued as the start date whereas others will go on your experience over a number of years so … it depends
