Its knackered. took me over an hour to get through. wagon being recovered near the big res. motorbike crushed at the side of the road just behind it. then another accident at the summit. police in attendance at both. traffic queuing for miles in both directions.
thoughts to all people involved. especially the bloke on the bike.

Very sad to hear, was planning on using the woodhead today, but chose to use the m62 instead
I was stationary westbound for just over two hours. Only just parked up at Lymm.
Didn’t see any signs of debris when they let us through though.
the wagon was being reversed badly by an angry looking policeman. who may of been angry at the fact he couldnt reverse it. the bike was a black one led of the pavement next to the wall. wouldnt have seen it if it wasnt for the policeman walking infront of the truck to keep the speeds down.
