Havent seen a traffic light window washer in ages.
Is there anyone in their vehicles that doesn’t have their foot on the brakes ?

In one of my motors you set a button and once the wheels have stopped turning the brakes are held on automatically until you release the clutch to pull away, great till it all goes wrong :frowning:

edit … auto hold feature

Cool feature i mean those who ■■■■ about at lights when they change to green and they still have handbrakes on lol

Yes they have been doing it for a few years now… I just put my window washers on to make a point  did you take that picture whilst in control of a motor vehicle??

If they approach me and point at the windscreen I give them a thumbs up. They wash the window then when they hold their hand out I pretend I cant hear them till the lights go to green then I zoom off with a cheery “thanks mate”, through the half inch opened window

 A bit like watching a busker, they finish and then you walk off.

If you’re more than one or two from the front of the queue there is plenty time to get into gear when the lights change to red+amber. Pulling away from the parking brake doesn’t take any longer, in fact can be quicker as you can have your foot poised over the accelerator and left hand ready to release the brake when you know the lights are about to change.

What gets me are the fools who sit with the foot on the brake at road works, level crossings and canal bridges when there’s clearly going to be long wait, probably with their foot on the clutch too, sometime creeping forwards when the barriers are down or there’s oncoming traffic coming through a convoy.
