I am a female Class 1 driver… I’m 5’4 and 9 stone. I do a lot of pallet truck/tail lift unloading… I’ve never not been able to move a heavy load, I never winge I get on and do my job just a well as any decent male driver…every day without fail I get comments like ‘nice to see a female driver’ 'oh you managed that reverse…last 4 drivers in here didn’t… ’ yes I do think that I’m being judged because I’m female but I actually think I’m bloody good a what I do, and I love it!!! 
So not only a racist that doesnt want Poles working, now you dont want women taking jobs either…

Rachael is 18 and I know both her mum and dad, Her father has been in proper haulage for over 40 years and could lose most of us on here.
I know several men in haulage that can’t pull pallets and won’t go into London. Some won’t even open a curtain. So should they be in haulage too?

There are quite a few women drivers that i see about at the depots i go to and they are perfectly good drivers.
Man or Women sometimes you need a bit of help moving or operating something, doesnt make you any less of a driver for asking.
I like that many women choose to become drivers, as a younger driver myself I do like to have a little look at the ladies as the day goes by, nice not to have to strain my neck looking down all the time!
Best looking girl I seen was driving for ASDA, lovely girl!
