Woman lying on M20

Passing ashford on the M20 about 1200 the truck infront darted into lane 2, it looked like someone had lost part of their load in lane 1 but no it was a woman lying still with her back to me, luckily lane 2 was clear for me aswell so missed her just, a couple of cars and trucks were just stopping on hard shoulder just beyond her just as hato sailed past in lane 3, was on my horn pointing back and he got message and pulled onto hard shoulder with the others. It didn’t look as thou she had been hit yet luckily. She was under a bridge so I presume she had just jumped. I saw 2 ambulances and a paramedic on the way a short while after just hope no one else got into trouble trying to avoid her.

Grim :frowning:

A bit about it here… newsdesk4.moreover.com/click/?p … &d=685&t=1

What a way to go.

Cheers bald bloke, sounds like every one missed her, not a sight I’ll forget for a while.

I remember driving past an up turned car and there was a blooded arm hanging out the window, I couldn’t get it out of my mind for several days after but no one died I read later.

Bald bloke, I can do better than that:

Carnage on a JHB highway…drove past an upright boot with a lower leg in it.

It wasn’t meant to be a competition

no…but if the boot was on the other foot

A few years ago I-87 just south of Saratoga was closed because a woman had jumped off a bridge. Two drivers were moaning on the CB about wanting to get home and how thoughtless it was of the ■■■■■ to do such a thing because he lived in Saratoga and wanted to get to the bar, he shut up when I asked “What if it’s your wife ?”

This woman in this story has a family somewhere who will be worried sick.

Not just me with the sick mind then

One of our drivers had a jumper on the old A33 before the M3 was completed, jumper came off the railway bridge and timed it to perfection through the windscreen and came face to face with my mate in a deceased state:shock:

My mate was a broken man and could never drive a truck again and left to be a train driver, unfortunately he was the train driver at Ladbroke Grove

One very unlucky man :frowning:

Surely had had a job “securding for sea” on the Herald of Free Enterprise in between?

people don’t generally just fall off bridges, they normally jump, or they are pushed.
if it was the case that people just fell from bridges, then we would see warning signs advising us of falling people ahead.

buhahhaha, now that I would love to see

Sorry about this one, on the Stockbridge bypass a number of years ago car hit a mobile crane went to see if the driver was all right. the engine was in the boot of the car the driver was obliterated apart from one half of his leg.

There could be a number of reasons, she’s 17, so it could be she was off her nut on something and thought she could fly, she could be depressed over bullying on facebook or something that and decided it was all too much, she could also have been chased/thrown over by yobbos, you never know with teenage girls.
