Two days training ? :astonished: how long does it take to learn what lever to pull/push and to ask …'Where you want this skip mate?
two days training versus two days working IMO cancels each other out, so move on and forget it.

]

yes but not in law and the fact it wasn’t mentioned before,
why is it me that has to learn from it and not the company? why do they now lie about it?. feel hard done by ? yes maybe but they are the recruiters been in the game many yrs.
Will be taking it to the job centre. doubt ill get my money back but at least they will have to put in training cost.

On reflection …
on your two days training was you out with another driver just watching what on how he did it and picking the job ins and out up on the way or was there something specialised about the training ? If the former I think you should then get the two days that you were on your own but maybe not the days as well where you were just watching. But I could well be wrong cos I usually are

Depends on how long ago it was but you could go to small claims court ( can do on line ) & see what happens

But you have to give them a reasonable amount of time also with corespondent

The “training” was probably riding shotgun with another driver. Why did the OP jack after two days? Not having a go, just interested.

They were ■■■■■■■

I had flat battery and told them it would take a couple of hours to charge. so the next day wouldn’t of been a problem.

Takes two minutes to do a jump start. The tale unfolds, slowly…

The new age can’t do, won’t do attitude.
They’re better off without you.
I think you’ve chosen the wrong career path.

The options available would have been:
Walk to work,
Cycle to work,
Taxi,
Bus,
Lift,
Ask a neighbour for a jump start.

“Will get there when I can” works surprisingly well, shows a willingness to try.

DIDN’T ASK YOUR OPINION , this thread was to do withholding wages.
Don’t judge someone until you know all the facts!.

Nobody was judging. It would have been nice to know the full story from the start though.
There’s been a few threads on here lately where it’s not been all as it seems.
