I’m sure Wiseman use a lot of subbies on the run up to Christmas. Same as a lot of supermarkets do.
I noticed that myself and when i did see a Wiseman Unit, it was broken down on the motorway !! 
i think Wiseman’s got taken over by Muller… so you will probably see Culina motors pulling their trailers. and even new livery on some of them.
It’s because there was a huge fire in a switch room at the Droitwitch dairy 3 weeks ago. They brought in a load of hire kit because of the increased running milk about.

Asked some of the lads I know who still work there and theres no truth in this, the transport is still being kept in house. New drivers are still being taken on, new vehicles continue to be registered. Only difference is the companies now called ‘Muller Wiseman’, hence Muller stickers slapped on the livery.
must say i noticed the muller stickers on their waggons but just thought they were advertising them cos muller were maybe using wisemen milk in their products or something, never knew they took them over!

The dairy in Wrexham I collect out of is now dealing with some of the work for Wisemans because of this and it’s causing some lovely delays for us in the process.
My current TM is an ex- Wisemans TM so knows a lot of the lads so we spend a lot of time chatting with them
